This book is an omnibus, including four titles: The Departure, Mythical Investigations, The Gnome Situation, and Dragon Bounty. These three main titles and one prequel make up the group of serials, similar to a season of a television show.
Leslie Kim is back for another adventure on Kapaton. In Mythical Investigations, he took down the Grootslang and solved the mystery of an Undine. In the second book in the serial, Leslie must stop a mysterious substance that is killing Gnomes on Kapaton everywhere. Leslie is shaken by the death of his father, but he can’t return to Earth until he earns back his passport by solving the case. Working with his trusty AI and Vampire girlfriend, Elena, he must work against the clock to save lives. Complications ensue when a government conspiracy threatens Leslie’s job and his life.
In a world where genetic engineering has turned a generation of people into Vampires, some humans choose to opt-out of the Earth experience and head to Kapaton. He’s left his career as a Bounty Hunter in the past, along with his old flings and bad memories. Now, he’s living on Kapaton, a planet that was discovered after they opened up a black hole to Earth and invaded.
Leslie Kim is starting fresh a private investigator. Contracted into helping the Kapatonian government track down strange creatures that they have been studying, Leslie puts his special skill set to good use.
